‘Triggering the Amygdala Hijack’ is an educational virtual reality video for construction managers about the risks caused by verbal abuse in the workplace. The amygdala hijack occurs when the brain is so overwhelmed by fight-or-flight impulses that wokers can make impulsive, and often fatal decisions. This was presented in virtual reality so the viewer could place themselves in the worker’s shoes.
